A screaming success One-of-a-kind specialist vegan bakery the Screaming Carrot will be celebrating a milestone this week. Screaming Carrot Vegetarian Bakery owners Andrew Mills and Lenore Ogilvy took a leap into the unknown a year ago when they bought the business. After a successful year they are marking their first anniversary with an open house for customers on Friday 3rd March 2006. Andrew and Lenore, who are in-laws, are hosting the open house as a thank you to their loyal customers. "It took six months to learn the ropes and settle in," says Lenore, "and then we began slowly making changes and developing our product ideas." "We've had an exciting year," says Andrew.
"We have a great team here and our customers have been very supportive.
I'm looking forward to the future."
